Dream Big .. they don't cost you anything

CREATIVITY AND INNOCENCE !! ( one of my childhood attempts at poetry writing )

The Agony of Being ” A Common Man”

It has always been a big struggle for the ordinary man whose monthly salary isn’t that big to afford the electricity bill for using an Air-conditioner and he still sees the likes of A.C as an added luxury which only the rich people should and can afford . Today I was on my own to the RTO office where everyone regardless of the Social echelons comes once in a while to get their license and vehicles certified . It was pain to see that “OUR COMMON MAN ” who spends most of his already meager salary on the routine and basic expenditure of living going through the likes of middleman and brokers to get the necessary “PAPERS” . I was really astonished to see that people are ready to spend almost double the actual amount for something which doesn’t takes up a lot of time and it does show the trust and confidence “OUR COMMON MAN ” has on the Government and its complicated procedures . The bottom-line being that in spite of spending on the ads of anti-corruption bureau and RTI’s , the government is still light years away  from gaining the trust bank of the MAN , our very own “Common Man ” . I realize that the Government needs desperately to win hearts rather than showing superficial growth on the covers of magazines to attract the Foreign Investments . Its not the investment which our country needs , all we need is proper co-ordination between the government and the Common Man , everything else will automatically fall into its respective place. The entire blame is not only on the Governing body but also on us , who don’t give chance for the Government to do what its trying to (or) at-least what it has been saying to do . Why to go through the middleman who lobbies and corrupts the entire system ? its because we give ..they stretch their hands and the people say “GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPTED“. Lets give them a chance , basically because everyone deserves one !!!Unless we start Believing in the good , the good isn’t going to happen . On the Government Front , it needs to establish a “body ” which in real sense answers the grievances of “The Common Man“. I say this because we all know how the present’ grievance Kiosks’ at the Government offices work . Why don’t the Government advertise like the private players about their various schemes ?? I have been trying to analyze and find answer for this particular question for some time , but with very little success . I’m not trying to advocate and say that the Government’s is immaculate , its not even close to that …the question’s why we don’t want it to be ??

CHANGE needs awakening 🙂

The feeling of one being obsolete and outdated occurs at the Food table ,People around you laugh loud as if they are experiencing the ultimate joke of their lives. Even the most hilarious standup comedians would get envious seeing that kind of enlightened audience .Many of us don’t know how to stuff the entire wheat made bun inside the mouth without the sticky cheese and mustard dropping from the corners . The irony being that you are a Indian and you dress up in your best clothes , get to the nearest American Junk Food Center to show that you are perfectly in times with the current Trend and laugh at your fellow Indian for not knowing the table etiquette of Eating a Stuff which in it self’s meant to be a Food for a Slobby kinda Person. But this has become a vogue thanks to the level of so called globalization which has made quite an impact on us especially on the youth in the metros , ‘THE METRO VOGUE’ . Come on guys do we even think what we are doing ?? I’ll tell you , NO !! we aren’t . We have Tied layers of blindfolds around our COMMON SENSE and following what the AMERICANS want us to do . This isn’t ] only with Food , food is just one of the best examples which can be easily cited and stated for a better understanding . Why do We need an “APPLE” , when things can be easily and afford ably “SPICEd” up with the “MICROes and “MAXes of India . Buying N Being Indian isn’t cheap!!! I thought we are proud of it …. Aren’t we ??!! But We do say it whenever there arises a Question which says “HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY?? ” Its easy taking pride  , but how far we realise that we aren’t making our country proud by buying things which aren’t indian .” Lets keep our too trendy to be Indian ” and ” I’m urban ”  approach little far from deying our “COMMON SENSE ” and give little space to “THE INDIANNESS ” inside us .

A True Leader

He isn’t different… he’s just another you, actually a better part of you. Most of the time his sheer confidence and approach towards the roughest and toughest problems of life is considered as audacity and craziness. He lives as if there is no tomorrow. He’s inside us and has been pushed in d shallow of fear of losing our comfortable position of today which may be of no significance tomorrow but still we fight for it not knowing what our real aspirations are , follow the crowd because they are meant to be sane . The path which has not existed should not be even thought of, is what our tenacity towards the life is. This is where a true believer begs to differ, his positivity is sky high and his tranquility is more sacred than the calmest of monks. He can wait but only for results , if he finds them positive he builds his path on them and if he fails he still holds a deep satisfaction that he has found a path which doesn’t leads to the place desired and works out his strategy as smoothly as the spider out of its own web . He doesn’t waits for the doors to open or things to happen, he’s an enthusiast and acts like one. He mocks and prods at the petty problems of life, singing his own tune of courage and might. He falls and is not afraid of getting hurt , because even the stone which made his slip would be a material of use in building a new path which is full of light . Some say a leader is born and some say that leaders are made but the truth is – a person becomes leader the moment he starts doubting the strength of the problems and breaks into them with confidence and enthusiasm of a child. Problems are as big as they are imagined to be; he who believes in his ability is a true audiophile of the music called life, a person of hard shell and a soften pulp inside 🙂 🙂
